Suspension lamp - design Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni 1957

Saliscendi is an adjustable double emission lamp. The light body and reflective disc slide silently along the cables, ensuring perfectly illuminated lighting
modular. The two elements, moving in the opposite direction, diffuse more direct or indirect light depending on the distance that separates them. Designed in 1957 and created the following year in two unique examples for the Milan Chamber of Commerce, today Saliscendi is re-engineered with dimmable LED sources.

Painted metal body in glossy gray white, ruby red, meadow green finishes. PMMA diffusers, double dimmable topLED 2700K source. Two-tone reflective reflector: white on the inside, painted in the same finish as the lamp body on the outside. Socket to raise/lower the metal lamp. Metal wire cover, acetal resin (POM) pulleys, black support cables/conductors.
