Dix Bougies ha una struttura tecnica costituita da un lungo estruso orizzontale in alluminio e da altri quattro elementi che si intersecano in modo asimmetrico, ma in perfetto equilibrio.
Il passaggio della corrente all’interno dei bracci conduce l’elettrificazione alle estremità, dove sono collocate le sorgenti luminose a LED arricchite da un diffusore costituito da una sofisticata carta in cellulosa e fibre sintetiche (Ø 3,3 cm, h 15 cm). I diffusori sono muniti di un sottile anello metallico e ancorati ai bracci grazie a piccoli magneti collocati su una slitta.
